Display boards

Posted: January 10, 2012 in Uncategorized

I’ve just completed a couple of display boards for a wetlands area in Yorkshire.  There is a birdlife and a plant and butterfly board.  It was an enjoyable and interesting exercise as it involved a number of things I don’t normally do such as text and multiple image manipulation with lots of layers.  Some of the pictures are mine and some I sourced from a photo library (something else I’d never done before).  The map was provided by the landscape architect and I put it together in Photoshop, producing a specified CMYK file for the printers.  I’d looked at lots of examples and I have to say I very pleased with the outcome (it looks a bit oversaturated on the blog).
